Gas prices are on the rise again in St Joseph.

The market average price of $2.981 is eight cents higher than last week, according to AAA. On Monday morning, we’re seeing retailers all over town offering regular for $2.99 a gallon.

AAA pegs the national average at $3.312, up three tenths on the day.

The national average is 6.2 cents higher than a week ago.

The statewide average in Missouri is $3.056, while in Kansas the mean price is $3.11 per gallon.
