Two people are recovering from injuries in a Monday evening crash in Nodaway County.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol sixty year old James E. Blessing of Skidmore was driving a 2002 Ford pickup west on Rt. V, five miles west of Maryville.

Blessing failed to negotiate a curve and traveled off the right side of the road. The truck came back onto the road, skidded and overturned onto the passenger side and traveled off the left side of the road hitting an embankment and came to rest on its wheels. Blessing and a passenger Lindy S. Blessing, age 62, of Skidmore were transported to St. Francis Hospital in Maryville. They were both wearing seat belts.
