A woman fell from a sixth floor window at the Village East Tower in Saint Joseph late yesterday afternoon.  Police say the 41 year old victim was taken to Heartland Regional Medical Center in critical condition.

Officials say it’s not known whether the fall was accidental or intentional.  It happened shortly after 4 pm from a window on the north side of the high-rise apartment building at 1218 Village Drive.  The incident is under investigation.
