Driver injured in Monday truck crash

Missouri Highway Patrol  MHP A semi-truck driver was injured in a Monday accident. According to the Missouri Highway Patrol sixty-seven year old Robert J. Dickson of Radville Saskatchewan, Canada was driving a 2000 Cummings Tractor Trailer north on US 71, 4 miles north of Savannah on Monday afternoon.

The vehicle went off the east side of the roadway, struck a fence and a sign and came to rest in the ditch.  Dickson was transported to the Heartland Regional Hospital.
