The Voices of America chorus in Saint Joseph has a new director. He’s Steve Scott, a Ph.D. student who teaches singing and conducting at the University of Kansas. VOA vice president Don Ransom says Scott brings “an incredible music, teaching, and barbershop talent to the chorus.”

Voices of America is hosting guest nights each Tuesday evening through February for any male singers who’d like to improve their singing voice. Rehearsals are 7:30 to 9:30 pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
