
Social Media is reporting that Catherine Hanaway, the former Republican speaker of the Missouri House is going to run for governor.
Hanaway served as speaker in the Missouri House from 2003-2005. She was the first female speaker in Missouri. She also served as the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri for 5 years.
According to Twitter reports, Hanaway’s announcement came during the annual Lincoln Day Dinner in Moniteau County.
