A St. Joseph woman was injured in a Tuesday morning crash in Andrew County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 2007 Kia driven by Heather A. Oswald, 39, was southbound on RT. W four miles west of Cosby at 9:20 a.m.

The vehicle traveled off the right side of the road, struck an embankment and became airborne. The vehicle then hit the ground and came to rest in the west ditch on its wheels.

Oswald was transported to Heartland Regional Medical Center.

The MSHP reported she was wearing a seat belt.
