The investigation continues into the extensive vandalism at the Plaza 8 Theaters on the North Belt Highway in St Joseph. Meanwhile, police released the manager of the theaters pending further investigation.

Captain Jeff Wilson of the St Joseph Police Department said Hall has not been charged. According to officers at the booking desk, Hall was released Wednesday afternoon.

“Detectives are still running down several leads in reference to that property destruction. There’s other witnesses that they need to speak to, just trying to put the entire case together.”

Captain Wilson identified the suspect as the Plaza 8 Manager Josh Hall. Police had until four pm Wednesday to file charges against Hall or release him.

The rampage left tens of thousands of dollars in damage to the facility, which will be converted into a grocery store.
