Expect head-to-head traffic on I-29 north of St Joseph starting today, as crews repair the bridge over Dillon Creek and Route DD.

Contractors will close the southbound lanes and divert traffic to the northbound lanes.

Once the southbound bridge repair is done, they’ll switch directions and close the northbound lanes.

 

Traffic on Route DD will also be affected. Watch for a flagger directing traffic as the work proceeds. That road will be closed on Thursday. Motorists may need to use an alternate route while route DD is closed.
