Well, after a few nice days of Spring it looks like Nature is going to remind us that Winter is not done with us yet. Conditions today will be unseasonably warm again, but this will help set the stage for some thunderstorm activity late this afternoon through the early evening hours as a cold front moves through. The initial thunderstorm activity may include marginally severe storms producing damaging winds or large hail. Otherwise, expect a widespread light rain to develop after the initial thunderstorm activity moves east, with the potential for falling temperatures to convert what rain is still falling after midnight into snow. Best potential for any accumulations tonight will be along and north of I-70; but even then accumulations of snow are expected to be one inch or less. Otherwise, expect strong winds to move in behind the cold front tonight. Overnight wind speeds will range from 20 to 30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH. Temperatures will be colder Wednesday with highs only in the 30s and 40s, but readings will quickly return to slightly above normal as 50s and 60s return for Thursday and Friday.
