(2:20pm) The Silver Alert issued for Anna L. Gibson, from Weatherby Lake, Missouri, was cancelled this morning. Ms. Gibson was located at the Casey’s General Store in Platte City, Missouri shortly after 9:00 AM today.

She appeared to be in good health and she is currently back at her residence. It is believed that Ms. Gibson got confused after leaving her doctor’s appointment and ended up in Platte City.

The Weatherby Lake Police Department is asking for help in locating Anna L. Gibson.

Ms. Gibson is an 86-year-old white female that has been missing since approximately 12 pm on March 10th.

Ms. Gibson was last seen leaving a doctor’s appointment in the area of 72nd Street and Prairie View road in Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri.

Ms. Gibson was driving a blue 2005 Chrysler Town and Country van bearing Missouri license SF0 B9G.

 

Ms. Gibson may be disoriented or confused; it is believed she may be suffering from Alzheimer’s. Anyone observing Ms. Gibson is asked to call their local law enforcement agency or the Platte County Sheriff’s Office at 816-858-3521.
