CLEVER (AP) – A southwest Missouri woman is charged with involuntary manslaughter in the shooting death of her husband.
Cherlynn Davidson of Clever was also charged Monday with second-degree domestic assault and two counts of armed criminal action in the death of her 56-year-old husband, Garrett Dean Davidson.
The Stone County Sheriff’s office says Davidson was shot once in the chest at the couple’s home Sunday.
The Springfield News-Leader reports the sheriff says Cherlynn Davidson told detectives the couple was arguing when she pointed a gun at him and it went off.
She is being held in the Stone County Jail on a $100,000 bond. Online court records do not indicate she has an attorney.
