Kansas City-One woman was injured in a Thursday evening crash in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident occurred as a 2012 Kia driven by Deborah A. Swafford, 48, Raymore was northbound on NW 1601 Road at US 50. The driver failed to yield and entered the path of and was struck by an eastbound Ford that driven by Kelsey B. Moore, 20, Warrensburg.

Swafford was transported to Research Medical Center. Moore refused treatment at the scene.

The MSHP reported both drivers were properly restrained.
