Two teens were injured in a Wednesday crash in Johnson County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the crash occurred as a 2002 Pontiac driven by Samantha M. Osborn, 16, Lone Jack, was westbound on Northwest 325 Road.

She lost control of the vehicle, it slid off the left side of the road. The vehicle returned to the road, slid off the right side of the road, struck an embankment, overturned and hit a utility pole.

Life Flight flew Osborn to Children’s Mercy for treatment.

A passenger in the vehicle Britney D. Gilmore, 16, Lone Jack refused treatment for minor injuries.

The MSHP reported both teens were properly restrained.
