TOPEKA –Two people were injured in a Saturday afternoon motorcycle crash in Shawnee County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a Doge Van driven by Mary E. Gilbert, Springfield, Mo., was northbound on K4 Hwy, a mile north of U24 in Topaka.

The van made a left-hand turn into a parking lot and was struck by a 2006 Harley Davidson driven by Dale W. Bigger, 47, Topeka.

Bigger and a passenger on the motorcycle Barb J. Bigger, 45, Topeka were transported to Stormont Vail. Gilbert was not injured.
