The CFO at the center of St Joe’s stipend controversy has filed suit against the school district.

Beau Musser has been on administrative leave since March. School district officials reportedly assert that Musser was placed on leave because of sexual harassment charges.

Sources, however, have said the real reason was in retaliation for reporting alleged illegal activity by administrators to members of the Board of Education

The lawsuit was filed over the noon hour on Tuesday in Buchanan County Circuit Court. Specific details from the lawsuit will not be available until officials in the Circuit Clerk’s office can enter the lawsuit into their system, and notify the defendants. That could take several days.
