The public is invited to an open house Thursday night to celebrate 104 years of educating children at Hall Elementary School in Saint Joseph. The school is closing as work on two new elementary school buildings nears completion.

Hall first opened its doors to students in 1909. The open house is billed as an opportunity to celebrate and reminisce the long history of the school. The event is scheduled for 6 pm to 7:30 pm Thursday evening.
