JACKSON CO, –Three Missouri men were seriously injured in a Monday crash in Jackson County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the crash occurred as a 2002 Chrysler driven by Jonathan C. Ayers, Freeman, was traveling on Route F, just north of 50 Highway.
The vehicle ran off the right side of the road, overturned and ejected the driver and front seat passenger.
Ayers and a passenger Eric A. Long, 28, Lees Summit were transported to Centerpoint Hospital. The other passenger William R. Barker, 26, Lone Jack, was transported to Research Hospital.
The MHP could only confirm that Ayers was properly restrained at the time of the accident
