CAMERON—A truck driver was injured in a Tuesday evening truck crash in Daviess County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident occurred as the 2009 Sterling Truck driven by Andrew E. Piilola, 48, New Market, MN., was southbound on I-35 ten miles north of Cameron. The truck traveled off the left side of the road into the median, returned to the road and the driver overcorrected. The truck began sliding and overturned onto the passenger side. Piilola was transported to Cameron Regional Medical Center.

The MSHP reported the driver was properly restrained at the time of the accident.
