KANSAS CITY, Kan- Three people were injured in a crash just after 9 p.m. on Sunday in Wyandotte County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Olds Alero driven by Mary Lu Jones, 47, Chillicothe, Mo., was southbound on U.S. 73. The vehicle made an illegal left turn on a red light and struck a 2006 Jeep Liberty driven by Charles Allen Gillespie II, 22, Easton.

Jones and Gillespie were transported to KU Medical Center. A passenger in the jeep Kelsey Nicole Addie, 19, Bonner Springs was possibly injured. The KHP report did not indicate where she received treatment.
The KHP reported all were properly restrained at the time of the accident.
