EASTON, Kan- A Kansas woman was injured in a Friday accident in Leavenworth County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Ford F-150 driven by Kelly L. Herken, 49, Easton, was north bound on U.S. 73 just north of Happy Hollow Road.

The vehicle left the roadway for unknown reasons and entered the east ditch. The vehicle struck a fence and tree.

Herken was transported to Saint Luke’s Cushing Hospital in Leavenworth.

The KHP reported she was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
