SABETHA- A Kansas driver was injured in a crash with a semi-truck on Saturday morning in Brown County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Honda Accord driven by Daniel P. Ondracek, 57, Topeka was northbound on U.S. 75 ten miles south of the Nebraska border.

A 2013 Peterbilt tractor-trailer driven by Richard Dean Coppejans, 58, Summerville, SC., was stopped southbound and turned left in front of the Honda.  The vehicles collided in the northbound lane.

Ondracek was transported to Sabetha Community Hospital.

The KHP report indicated Coppejans was possibly injured. It did not say where he was treated.

Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident.
