St. Joseph Adult Education & Literacy(AEL) will hold their annual graduation ceremony at 2:00pm, Saturday, June 21, 2014, at Abundant Life Center, 5130 Faraon St., St. Joseph, MO.

Graduates from July 2013 to June 2014 have been invited to participate in the event. Graduation ceremonies are open to the public.

This year’s graduates range in age from 17 to 85.

“We always have a very diverse group of folks that come and fulfill a goal that now has become a reality. Graduation has been a long time coming for some. We are thrilled to be able to provide an opportunity to walk across the stage and be handed a certificate,” says Betty Wymore, AEL director.

“A chapter closed as others are opened for them. For some it’s not only their dream accomplished but a family dream to be able to move forward to higher education.”

St. Joseph Adult Education & Literacy will celebrates 60 years of being part of the St. Joseph community this year. We are proud to be having our graduation again this year to honor those that have decided to reach this goal in their lives.
