The Northwest Missouri State University regional Small Business and Technology Development Center has promoted Rebecca Evans as its director, effective July 1.

Evans joined the Northwest SBTDC in 2007 to serve as director of its St. Joseph branch and has served as associate regional director for the SBTDC since August 2013. Evans is taking the place of Larry Lee who has served as regional director of the SBTDC.

Lee will remain as director of Northwest’s Dean L. Hubbard Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
