A weak weather disturbance will bring a chance for rain to the region today with below normal temperatures. Another chance for light rain will occur on Thursday before drier weather and warmer temperatures return for the weekend. Here’s the 7-day forecast from the National Weather Service:

Temps in the 70s today with chance of rain overnight

Above normal temperatures will continue today before a cold front brings increasing rain chances later tonight and Wednesday. Another shot of light rain will be possible late Thursday afternoon and evening as another cold front sweeps across the region. Another warm and windy day is expected again today with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s and 20 to 30 mph wind gusts out of the south.
