The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department has cancelled an Endangered Person Advisory for a missing teenager.

Bailey Ann Summers and Elijah Garrick McPike were located by Kansas City, Kansas Police Department Friday evening, and taken in handcuffs to the KCK police station.

Prosecutors in Harrison County on Thursday charged McPike with kidnapping and violating a protective order.

Police spotted the truck the pair were travelling in on North 83rd Terrace in Kansas City, Kan.

A short time later, near North 82nd and Georgia, officers were seen leading first McPike, and then Bailey Summers, in handcuffs, toward waiting police vehicles.

The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday issued the endangered person advisory for Summers after she left a Gilman City residence with McPike.

Sheriff Josh Eckerson says Bailey left with McPike voluntarily, but he insisted she might have been in danger. McPike was believed to be armed and has been known to be violent and suicidal, Eckerson said.

“Unfortunately she did go willingly with him, but at this point in time we’re unsure exactly what his mental status is,” Eckerson said. “We’ve also been told that he is in possession of a .45 calibre pistol and is not afraid to use it.”

Kansas City, Kansas police have confirmed that the two people taken into custody are Bailey and McPike. They were being questioned by authorities Friday evening.
