Today is Take Your Dog to Work Day. Beth Stultz with Pet Sitters International says thousands of offices around the country opened their doors to employees’ pets today during the 14th annual event. Stultz says bringing dogs to the workplace gives others the chance to witness that special human-animal bond and hopefully be encouraged to adopt a pet of their own.

Take Your Dog to Work Day has now become part of Take Your Pet To Work Week, giving cat lovers a chance to take part in the fun. Of course, it’s a good idea to check with your boss first. Event details are available online here.
