The Platte County Sheriff on Thursday released the results of his Department’s sobriety checkpoint May 31 on NW Prairie View Road.

A team of deputies and officers from the Platte Woods and Lake Waukomis police departments stopped 475 vehicles in the 7300 Block of NW Prairie View Road.

In a news release, the Sheriff’s Office said they made a total of 14 arrests including two for DWI. Two people were arrested for possession of controlled substances. Ten were arrested for drivers license violations.
