Two people were hospitalized after a one-car crash along I-29 in Andrew County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a BMW left the highway at about 1pm Sunday, hit a ditch and then a bridge pillar.

The driver, Timothy Hagan, 45, of Kansas City, Missouri, was seriously injured. Hagan was flown by LifeNet helicopter to Heartland Regional Medical Center.

A passenger, John Obrien, 45, of Omaha, was transported by ambulance to Heartland with moderate injuries.

Officials at Heartland say both men were treated and released.
