Seven local dentists are teaming up to give free cleanings, fillings or extractions at a special event on Saturday in St Joseph.

Dr Heather Clark, of Clark Family Dentistry, along with the practitioners at the Hatcher Dental Group will offer free dental care on Saturday, October 12, from 9am to 1pm at their offices behind Perkins at 1331 Village Drive.

“We wanted to be able to give back to the community,” said Dr. Heather Clark. “I know there’s a lot of give-backs where dentists may go overseas or elsewhere.”

“My team and I thought why don’t we just help the St Joseph Community because there’s so much of a need.

“That’s really why we got into dentistry anyway, to help others and to make a difference in their lives.”

Dr Clark says the offer is open to anyone 18 or over in the St Joseph Community on a first-come, first-served basis.

There will be a registration tent in the parking lot. Registration starts at 8am.
