A Cameron woman was seriously hurt in a crash on I-35 Wednesday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Lula Curtis, 89, tried to turun around in an emergency gravel crossover at about 11am when her Buick LaCrosse was hit from behind by a semi.

According to the crash report, Curtis was transported to Heartland Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.

Officials at Heartland say she is no longer a patient there.

The driver of the Peterbilt, Joseph Roland, 60, of Cedar Point, Kansas, was not injured.
