MWSU/Northwest Matchup Named MIAA TV Game Of The Week

MIAA logoThe Griffons host the Bearcats Saturday, and the powers that be have selected that power-matchup as the MIAA TV Game of the Week. They’ve moved the game time to 2:37pm at Spratt Stadium.

Northwest Missouri state beat the No. 10 ranked Emporia State Hornets on Saturday at Welch Stadium, 48-21. The win moves the No. 2 ranked Bearcats to 10-0 on the season. They are now the lone remaining undefeated team in the MIAA.

 

Missouri Western snapped a two game losing streak as they beat the 15th ranked Washburn Ichabods 34-31. The Ichabods scored 14 points in the final two minutes but the rally fell short. The Griffons victory helped them improve to 8-2 overal land 7-2 in MIAA play.
