The Missouri Western baseball opening series scheduled for this weekend in Searcy, Ark. against Harding University has been canceled due to the very poor weather forecast.

The series will not be made up.

The Griffons will hope to open their 2014 schedule next weekend in Russellville, Ark. against the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys.

The two teams will play doubleheaders on Saturday, Feb. 8 and Sunday, Feb. 9. First pitch for both days is scheduled for 1:00 pm.
