A motorcyclist from Maryville was hospitalized after a crash last night on Icon Road.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Kyle Miller, 24, lost control of his Kawasaki after accelerating rapidly near the north city limits of Maryville.

The bike left the roadway, careened into a ditch and overturned, ejecting Miller.

Miller was transported to St Francis Hospital with moderate injuries.
