SEDALIA (AP) – Pettis County authorities say partial human remains were found in a trailer park and in a nearby wooded area.

The sheriff’s office says the remains were found Sunday outside a residence in the Goodwill Chapel Trailer Park. While processing that scene, deputies found more remains in woods near the park.

Authorities are investigating whether the two scenes are connected.

The remains will be transported to the Boone County Medical Examiner’s Office.
