Washington Post: Manhattan, Columbia fastest growing cities in Kan. and Mo

The Washington Post released a list yesterday of the fastest growing cities in each state in America, and Manhattan and Columbia took the podium for Kansas and Missouri.

While Texas had four of the top ten fastest-growing cities of 2013, the list shows the fastest-growing big cities over a three-year period. Big cities are defined as having a population of 50,000 or more.

According to census data, Manhattan has grown 7.4% from 2010 to 2013 and Columbia 5.9%.
