The FBI is offering a reward for information in three recent bank robberies. Investigators now believe the man who robbed the Commerce Bank at 3606 Frederick in St Joseph on May 30 is also responsible for two other robberies in Overland Park.
The FBI offered surveillance photography of the suspect, who is described as a black male in his mid-30s, 6’0′ to 6’2″ tall with an average build.
The bureau says in all three robberies the suspect was wearing a Kansas City Royals ball cap, carrying a blue folder and talking on his cell phone. He then approached a teller and provided a demand note.
A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the individual/s responsible for these robberies.
Anyone with information about any of these robberies is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
