YMCA Children’s Learning Campus Nearing Completion

YMCAThe YMCA says its Children’s Learning Campus at Oak Grove Elementary will make sure that kids are ready when they’re old enough for school. Mark Cartledge of the YMCA says what makes the Children’s Learning Campus different from any other child care center in Saint Joseph is a creative curriculum, certified teachers, and an Early Learning Laboratory with individualized instruction.

The program will utilize a full day curriculum design for up to 72 children (infants through 5 years of age) in 6 classrooms. The children who are in the 4-year old program and will be entering Kindergarten the following year, will attend the school district’s specialized part-day Pre-K Program in the afternoon.

Cartledge says the Children’s Learning Campus is on track to open along with the new Oak Grove Elementary School in August.
