A St Joseph man on Monday was bound over for trial on sodomy charges for allegedly abusing a female child less than four years old. Police say the child was injured when the suspect fondled her genitals and buttocks.

Poice say 43-year-old Jorge Fernandez-Molina was responsible for the care, custody and control of the child victim at the time.

He’s being held under $50,000 bond awaiting trial July 7.
