The St. Joseph Police Department is investigating after a domestic disturbance escalated in the 3600 block of Gene Field Road.

Officer said a woman may have been hit by a vehicle around 10:30 p.m. Thursday during a dispute with her ex-boyfriend.

Her injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
