A burn ban is in effect in Doniphan County until Tuesday morning.

The ban will run Monday from 1 p.m. until Tuesday at 7 a.m.

The National Weather Service has implemented a red flag warning from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday for dry conditions and high winds.

The combination of dry and breezy conditions will bring very high to extreme fire growth potential to the area.
