Flood warnings continue

Some flood warnings were cancelled but others continue after a spring storm Saturday night dropped large amounts of rain throughout the region.

Food warnings along the 102 River in Andrew and Nodaway counties, as well as along the Tarkio River in Atchison and Holt counties, have been cancelled.

The flood warnings along the 102 River at Rosendale and the Platte River near Agency continue.

There’s also a continuing flood warning for the Missouri River. At Joseph, the Big Muddy appears to have crested early Monday morning. The highest recorded crest was 18.59 feet at about 11pm Sunday. Minor flood stage is 17 feet. The River is expected to continue receding and drop below flood stage by Wednesday morning.

The Platte River near Agency reached 27 feet at 1:30am Monday. Flood stage is 20 feet. The Platte is expected to fall below flood stage early Wednesday afternoon.
