A 36-year-old Wamego, Kansas man was killed Saturday when his motorcycle was hit by a car driving the wrong way on a highway north of Topeka.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says Ryan Scott was westbound along US-24 highway a half mile west of Goodyear Road north of Topeka Saturday afternoon at about 3:30pm.

A 71-year-old woman was driving the wrong way on the highway and hit the motorcycle. The bike then hit another car.

Mr Scott was killed. The wrongway driver, Vickye Still of Topeka, suffered unspecified injuries, and was transported to a Topeka hospital. The third motorist was not injured.
