Two people were taken to the hospital Thursday after a crash in Daviess County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Donna Daffron, 67 of St. Joseph was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt northbound on Route F and Brenda Shira, 55 or Trenton was driving a 2012 Kia Spectra eastbound on Missouri 6 around 5:46 p.m.  The crash report said Daffron failed to yield at a stop sign and pulled her vehicle in front of Shira’s vehicle hitting the rear driver’s side.

Daffron was taken by EMS with minor injuries to Cameron Regional Medical Center.  Shira was taken with minor injuries to Wright Memorial Hospital.
