Two hurt in Daviess County crash

MSHP badge goldTwo people were hurt in a single-vehicle crash in Daviess County early Saturday morning.  The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a Ford Explorer was southbound on I-35 south of Pattonsburg when it left the roadway, went down an embankment and overturned.

Nacole Jones, 32, of Albany, Mo., was seriously hurt when she was ejected from the vehicle. Ms Jones is being treated at the Truman Medical Center in Kansas City.

Thirty-year-old Robert Ellis of Independence, Missouri was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries.

According to the crash report, investigators have not yet determined which occupant was the driver.
