The Special Olympics Missouri North Area Track and Field Meet will bring more than 150 athletes from across northern Missouri to Savannah.

This area-level event takes place April 9th at Savannah Middle School.

Opening Ceremonies will begin at 9am on the track and consist of entertainment provided by Special Olympics Cheerleaders, the running of the Special Olympics torch, and the athlete oath. Games will start at 10am and run until approximately 3pm.

Athletes will compete in running/walking events, low motor events, as well as field events including running and standing long jump, javelin, and many more! We invite the public out to this free event to show your support by cheering our athletes on as “fans in the stands.”
