20,000 pounds of meat has been donated once again to the Second Harvest Community Food Bank by Triumph Foods.

Second Harvest announced Monday the donation of pork ribs, loins, hams, tenderloins, and other cuts of meat.

“As the only food bank servicing 19 counties in Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas, we are constantly working to identify how to provide more protein to families in need throughout the region,” said Chad Higdon, Executive Director at Second Harvest. “Triumph Foods is a tremendous partner in the fight against hunger, and we are honored to receive such a large quantity of high quality protein to help provide food to many struggling families in the region.”

Second Harvest said Triumph made a similar donation last November.
