(UPDATE) – Two children reported missing Thursday afternoon have been located.

The St. Joseph Police Department issued a Nixle alert around 1:30 p.m. to let the public know they were trying to located a 13-year-old girl and a 2-year-old girl.

At 2:39 p.m. Capt. Jeff Wilson confirmed that the children were located in the 1500 of South 10th.

(1:35 p.m.) – The St. Joseph Police Department has issued an alert notifying the public to be on the lookout for two missing children.

Around 1:28 p.m. a Nixle alert was issued regarding two children reported missing from the 1600 block of Buchanan.  Authorities are searching for 13-year-old Joselin Santos, she’s described as a Hispanic girl around 5’3, 110 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes, also being sought is 2-year-old Mia Velasquez.  Mia is described as a Hispanic girl with brown hair/brown eyes last seen wearing a blue jumpsuit with white stripes.

Anyone with information as to their whereabouts is asked to call police.
