Two people were hurt, one of them seriously, in a motorcycle crash on I-29 near Mound City Friday night.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the pair were riding along I-29 shortly before 11pm Friday when an object fell from a trailer in front of them. The vehicle towing the trailer did not stop.

The Harley Davidson hit the object and overturned. Samuel Little, 69, of Lenexa and Constance Harrell, 65, of Shawnee, Kansas, were ejected.

Both were transported to Mosaic Life Care for treatment and then released.
