A St. Joseph woman was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Sam Justice nearly four years ago.
Angela Henderson was one of three people charged with the fatal stabbing, which investigators said stemmed from a failed attempt to get money from the victim. In July, a Buchanan County Circuit Court jury found her guilty of 2nd degree murder, armed criminal action and tampering with evidence.
Her son was ruled incompetent for trial. Co-defendant Kim Keith confessed and was convicted on one count of 2nd degree murder. He is serving a 15-year prison sentence.
In December of 2012, the body of Sam Justice was found in his apartment at 136 Park Lane. He had been stabbed to death.
